How do I enable camera access?
When you first open MyMirror, your browser will ask for camera permission. Click 'Allow' to grant access. If you accidentally denied it, you can enable it in your browser settings under Site Settings > Camera.
Why is my camera showing a black screen?
This usually happens when another application is using your camera. Close other apps that might be using the camera (like Zoom, Teams, or other video apps) and refresh the extension.
Are my photos saved anywhere online?
No. All snapshots are saved directly to your device's local storage. We never upload, store, or have access to your photos. Your privacy is fully protected.
How do I use the skin-tone filters?
Click on the filter icon in the mirror interface to access our skin-tone enhancement filters. Select the filter that best suits your needs for optimal clarity.
Does MyMirror work offline?
Yes! Once installed, MyMirror works completely offline. No internet connection is required since all processing happens locally on your device.
